Methods Of Installing Solar Power Plants

Posted on 17 September 2010

Solar power systems have created many problems for its designers. The main issue is that it produces DC at low voltages for which inverters are required at very high voltage to convert DC to AC so that the power could be sent to the grid. However, to sum up the power from the panels, the panels can be wired but then their output would fluctuate with even a minor mismatch along the sting. This is one of the major problem which a designer faces and also to determine whether a certain location would be suitable for a plan or not. However, with the advancement in technology, new methods of parallel wiring are being though of which would help create freedom for the designers.

Developments in Solar Energy Technology

Posted on 03 September 2010

The energy provided from sun is so strong that it can power the entire planet for one year. Surely we are clever enough to capture some of this magnificent force and use it to fuel our environment. Solar energy are divided into two categories, static or passive solar energy and dynamic or kinetic solar energy. An example of passive solar energy could be building a house so that the windows face the morning sun in cold climates. We do not know but our Earth uses the power from sun in many ways. Ours is an inherently rechargeable renewable world, provided we use our resources such as solar energy wisely.
