It is estimated that wind is the most fast growing source of energy. It has taken major part in the role of renewing energy as in US only, the wind production has increased by 21 percent since 2007 and it is expected that the wind production will increase vastly by 2030. Most of the wind farms are owned by the major companies that utilize wind energy and pays the wind energy company to install and maintains the latest and strong turbines that are used in the production. This has significantly made the field grow and employees from all parts of world seek their opportunities here. A lot of finance is being poured in the wind power industry, the wind energy company from Europe and other continents have their share here in US, and are trying to make their presence quick in US that seem to be positioning as a wide market. 
Similarly companies like Nordex that shares 5 to 7 percent market share of world. It is most fastest growing company and creating its position in US wind fields. Though it left earlier and plans to re-enter the US premises. Vestas is other company that is well known and plans to spread its utility in the US and give employment to more than 4000 people in the year 2010.

The emerging wind industry in the United States recently surpassed Germany as the largest market for installed turbines and there are more than 35 companies in Michigan supplying components or services to the wind energy industry, a number that is quickly growing.
Last March in Detroit, European wind turbine companies Vestas, Nordex, and Siemens expressed their needs for more domestic suppliers to manufacture critical components at the 2009 Michigan Wind Energy Conference. Northern Power, an energy based company in Vermont which focuses on community wind projects, is considering a contract manufacturing facility that will build wind turbines in Michigan and use components from companies located within the state.
