Dell Installs Solar Trees in HQ Parking Lot

Posted on 25 November 2009

The increasing depletion of natural resources has given way to new, innovative ways of using renewable energy.

This has caused the whole world to look up to industry leaders and other major corporations that can have a vital impact on the world’s power usage.

The good news is that Dell has stepped forward in order to fulfill its responsibility towards the society, and we can hopefully expect much more from the company in the future.

The Dell solar trees parking lot is one of the greatest ways to employ renewable energy. The Dell solar parking lot by Envision Solar, is an extremely unique way of using solar powered lights and it is something that is making immediate impact.

Not only the solar trees gather the suns energy as a viable energy source, but they even provides shade over about 50 parking spaces as well! The parking lot was designed in a way to make it viewable from the highway, so that Dell can let everyone know that solar power is the answer to the future needs.
